Okay I'm ready to get back in the groove.I did a tempo run today- 5 miles a little faster than 1/2 Marathon pace. Felt pretty good.
I picked up all of the ingredients for the master cleanse. I will be starting in the morning- actually in a couple of hours if you count the tea the night before.
It is amazing how fast you can fall out of shape! On Nov 3rd for Ironman Florida i weghed 182.
New Years eve I weighed 199! Durring that period I weouldn't say I trained consistantly but I did run at least every other day and I raced the Ironman, a 10 k, a 1/2 marathon, a 50k, and a 5k. I would say on average I ran around 30 miles per week. It was all in the nutrition that made me gain that much that quickly. I pretty much ate every thing I saw. I'm ready to get back in top shape starting with the master cleanse to detox.
I am interested to see how much energy I will have while on it. Hopefully I will be through the worst feeling days by next tuesday because I have scheduled a long run of around 30 miles.
I would like to do some speed work this week but with the limmited calories I don't know if I'll have the energy. Time will tell.
